In case you missed the Education page, I am college student learning how to program and hack computers...under the unlikely title of "Computer Science major and Information Security and Assurance minor." I discovered my love (or insanity) for programming while learning Microsoft Excel. By creating a highly complex scoresheet called E-Score, I found a passion for taking complicated things--such as statistics, logic, and math--and turning the confuddling data into valuable and understandable information that everyone can use and enjoy.
A mentor suggested I learn HTML to see if I had a chance in the programming field, so naturally I purchased the best book for learning how to build websites: HTML, XHTML, and CSS for Dummies. Through determination, self-discipline, trial-and-error, and banging my head on the desk countless times, I finally had a website. Three years later, my skills continue to expand as I keep up with the fast changes in web technology.
I have begun learning Java, which will allow me to begin programming for the web and the Android platform. I will post some of the applications I created soon.
In the future, I plan to write applications that interface between the web and mobile devices...and create thrilling cinematic productions. Ambitious (and diverse) pursuits, but I am more than ready and capable for the task.
